The Great Sacandaga stretches nearly 30 miles through the southern Adirondacks — too big to take in from the ground. From the air you get the whole sweep: the open water, the wooded coves and islands, the dam at Conklingville, and the High Peaks foothills rising to the north. A relaxed, scenic 45 minutes, start to finish.

The Robinson R-44 flies to a strict weight & balance. We ask for each passenger's weight at booking — it's a safety requirement, not a formality.

Based on total cabin weight and conditions on the day, the pilot makes the final decision on how many passengers can fly. Safety comes first, every time.

Fuel surcharge — 100LL is up $1 a gallon. $12.50 on flights up to 30 minutes, $25 on 60-minute flights, charged once per flight. We'll remove it when fuel prices come back down.

Passengers & weight — please read before booking. This is a private flight for up to three (3) passengers. Weight limit: 285 lb per seat, and no more than 540 lb total for all passengers combined. The pilot makes the final call on every flight depending on weather and flight length. A total-cabin weight & balance is calculated for every flight, so we need each passenger's weight at the time of booking — accurate weights are a safety requirement. Whether all three seats can be flown is ultimately at the pilot's discretion based on total weight, fuel, and conditions on the day. The pilot's decision on passenger count and all weather matters is final, for your safety.
